about

This one is the darkest lyrically on the album. It's about distance and separation helping you move on. It's about being unsure of how to deal with relationships that have been broken but family ties force you to stay in contact. It's about being reminded of a part of your past when that part of your past is painful. It's about seeing what you don't want to see. Because of what might have been? Of what could have been? It's about reminders of mistakes you have made when you are better off forgetting them because what's done is done...

lyrics

No more reminders
I want to escape
Surrounded by liars now
Everyone’s fake
I’m glad that your happy
No really I am
But don’t let me see it
I still give a damn

Crossing an ocean
For separation
I can’t keep reliving
That moment she won
There isn’t a day
When your out of my mind
You got an opinion
Be cruel don’t be kind

Whatever I do
Leads me back to you and

What I feel
You don’t
What I conceal
It won’t
Make me forget because
I know I care
You don’t

Thinking bout reaching out
If it will make
The door close to all of those
Memories we made
I know I’ll feel better
By running away
A thousand miles
Or break

It don’t matter
What I wish
It don’t matter
Who’s to blame
Or how much that I still miss you
It can never be the same
