This song is me asking myself the question “What have been the best moments of my life so far?” Not days or weeks, just the moments. The first verse then describes two of those times. From there my thoughts turned to asking “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could stop time during those perfect moments or somehow revisit them when we want to? So we can feel those feelings again” The best moments and the worst too are just that. They are brief and disappear into memory quickly so the best ones you want to try to hold on to. Your memory is often all you have to rely on as you didn’t know that perfect moment was coming. Sometimes a photograph, video or a song can help you bring back those feelings if you are lucky. I’m trying to describe that here.
