This is probably the most personal lyric on the album. It came from a situation where I had felt prepared to let the past go with someone only to be completely let down by them once again. Sometimes however much you want things to be different with certain people that sometimes just doesn't happen. I remember feeling really angry when I wrote this and these words came very quickly as a result. We referenced the song "Cheating On Me' by Kwabs to get that through back kind of production.
