This song came after a meet up with some old work colleagues. I had been out of my former career for a couple of years but as they were telling me about their stresses and challenges that I used to face with them it became clear that night that we had become different people. How do you then keep those relationships going when the thing that brought you together isn’t there anymore? It’s about adjustments that as lives change you have to deal with. It’s about acceptance and finding new common ground. We referenced "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd from a production perspective for this one.
